About Me

Your Personal Coach

Eric Rojas

Eric loves his role as the Executive Pastor of Rolling Hills Community Church in Franklin, Tennessee, as a coach, developer and overseer of the staff and ministries. He also loves being the right hand support of his friend and founding Senior Pastor, Jeff Simmons. Eric has been at Rolling Hills for 7 years as their Executive Pastor and has served in the Executive Pastor role for a total of 22 years.

Eric received his Bachelor’s Degree from Judson University in Elgin, IL, and his Masters of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, IL. During his 30+ years of ministry Eric has served in churches in Illinois, California, and Tennessee as a youth pastor, adult ministries pastor, small groups pastor, associate pastor, worship pastor, men’s pastor, and Executive Pastor.

Eric also loves to serve the church at large. As a writer, Eric was a contributing author for Group Publishing’s “Men’s Ministry in the 21st Century” book. In addition, he has written for magazines / web pages such as XPastor, Church Executive, Rev! and had a monthly column in Church Solutions magazine. Eric serves the church at large through consulting and seminar presenting in areas of staff relations, multi-site, church leadership and church HR.

As much as Eric enjoys ministry, his real joy and first ministry is his family. He has been married to Rachel for 32 years, and they live in Columbia, TN. They have 3 grown children and 4 grandchildren – Luke (and daughter-in-law Megan and granddaughters Penelope and Polly and grandson Shepherd), Adam (and daughter-in-law Sierra and grandson River), and Chloe (and son-in-law Jacob). They also have a much-loved Cocker Spaniel, Penny. A man of faith, he never had a doubt (ok, maybe a little doubt) that his beloved Chicago Cubs would one day win the World Series. Now that that day has come, he is now believing for 5 or 6 more World Series victories in the decade ahead!

"Anyone who meets Pastor Eric will immediately recognize that this is a man who loves Jesus and loves people. He lives with a perfect combination of being deeply relational while remaining attentive to the process. During our Network Pastor's Retreat, he skillfully moved between clear teaching and prayerful ministering."
